As a pregnant woman considering adoption, you are in control of the adoption process. You get to make an adoption plan that is comfortable for you, and you’ll have the support of an Adoption Choices of Nevada specialist each step of the way.

Every adoption plan is unique to your circumstances but we have broken down the adoption process into five basic steps. Within each step there will be other consideration and tasks, but don’t worry, we are here with you to help!

STEP ONE: CONTACT US

While our focus is adoption services, staff will discuss all of the different options available.

STEP TWO: DISCUSS AN ADOPTION PLAN

If adoption is the best option, then we will help make an adoption plan. You will get to choose the type of adoption you want to pursue, choose the adoptive family, create a birth plan, and discuss post-placement contact.

STEP THREE: PICK AN ADOPTING FAMILY

We will provide several adoptive family profiles that match your preferences for you to view and you will be able to choose the family that will adopt your baby. Adoption Choices will help facilitate communication throughout the pregnancy (and after birth).

STEP FOUR: COMPLETE YOUR ADOPTION PLAN

We can provide financial assistance, ensure you are receiving proper medical care, and offer counseling services throughout your pregnancy.

STEP FIVE: SUPPORT

Post-Placement support is available to you at no additional cost.
